The Blog Most Likely To…

Hey guys! I was tagged to do this by Beth @ Reading Every Night. This tag was originally created to promote the release of The Boy Most Likely To – which was released a while back! Apparently Beth took a while to actually do the tag herself, so I am doing it late too! Plus, I haven’t actually read this book yet! It is on my TBR and I keep meaning to read it… but I just haven’t gotten around to it yet! Here is the book that inspired the tag:

the boy most likely to.jpg

The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick

Published August 18th 2015 by Dial Books

Tim Mason was The Boy Most Likely To find the liquor cabinet blindfolded, need a liver transplant, and drive his car into a house

Alice Garrett was The Girl Most Likely To . . . well, not date her little brother’s baggage-burdened best friend, for starters.

For Tim, it wouldn’t be smart to fall for Alice. For Alice, nothing could be scarier than falling for Tim. But Tim has never been known for making the smart choice, and Alice is starting to wonder if the “smart” choice is always the right one. When these two crash into each other, they crash hard.

Told in Tim’s and Alice’s distinctive, disarming, entirely compelling voices, this novel is for readers of The Spectacular Now, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, and Paper Towns.

So, Pageturner is the blog most likely to fizzle out for a little bit and then return all guns blazing! There are times when my blogging becomes extremely sporadic or sometimes even non existent. It could take me ages to write a review or a different post for TTT and sometimes I just won’t write anything for seemingly long periods of time. Whenever I hit a reading slump, I always tend to go and bingewatch a tv show instead. You know what thats like! You get into a tv show and then you want to know everything that has happened or is going to happen and you just can’t let it go!

Another reason for my Fizzling out is that sometimes I am literally so busy, I just do not have time to write my blog posts! At all!! I have started writing blog posts days in advanced and scheduling them to go out later on – which I am about to do with tomorrows STS and a release day post on Sunday… and I have to write my wrap up post sometime as well! I don’t have time to do any of these posts at the weekend because it is my hubby’s birthday on Sunday and we are doing stuff all through the weekend!

Apparently we’re supposed to offer examples of the point that we made, but I think going back through my blog for a significant period of time, you will all see when I have fizzled out and when I have come back and the differences between the two periods!

I am not going to tag anyone, I am just going to say that if you want to do this tag, feel free to! All I ask is that you link me up so that I can see your answers!

Book Fangirling Blog Award

Depending on what it is, I have been known to fangirl. Just ask anyone poor should who has to put up with me. I was nominated for this award by Beth at Reading Every Night – So thanks for that!

Rules:

  • Create a post to accept your award
  • Answer the questions I have at the end
  • Nominate between 5-10 book bloggers who you also think deserve this award.
  • come up with 5 questions of your own for your nominees

The three main character from the last three books you read are your partners in the zombie apocalypse. Who are they and do you think you would survive the outbreak?

So, I have Victoria from Unnatural Deeds by Cyn Balog, Lana from Valley of the Moon by Bronwyn Archer and Flynn from Last Seen Leaving by Caleb Roehrig. Whilst Flynn is pretty nifty when he wants to be, I am pretty sure I wouldn’t survive. Time to cut the losses!

If you could take one thing, be it a place, an event, a character, an object, out of any book and make it real, what would you pick?

Probably Harry’s invisibility cloak! I would be able to go anywhere and do anywhere and do anything and no one would be the wiser!

The world is ending and you have just enough time to read one book, what would you read and why?

Probably HP and the Goblet of Fire. It is my favourite of the HP books and, of course, Harry Potter is my childhood – so I would want to revisit that before the world ends!

What is the one thing you wish there was more of in the world?

More time to do everything you need to do and still have time to read as much as you want!

If you could have any superpower, what would you choose and what would be your origin story?

Every time I am asked this question, the superpower tends to change depending on what I am feeling at the time and what I am reading etc. At the moment, I would probably say Telekinesis based purely on the fact that my son is at that age where he crawls around and throws everything everywhere and then waddles off and throws something else. I would love to be able to put everything where it is supposed to be with my mind instead of having to run around the house without him! Origin Story… I am not creative enough to write an origin story!!

My questions:

What is your guilty pleasure read?

Every bookworm has some bad habits when it comes to books and reading – what would you say is your worst habit?

Who is your all time favourite villain and why?

If you could change one aspect, be it a character, event etc from any book, what would it be and why?

If you could choose one character to spend a day with, who would it be and why?

I nominate:

Jamie @ Watch Game Read

Olivia @ Heir of Glitter

Chrissi @ Chrissi Reads

Joey @ Thoughts and Afterthoughts

CW @ Read, Think, Ponder
