March Wrap Up

Hey guys! I hope you all had a great month. I have definitely had an amazing month, and when I look back through it, I feel like March has been extremely long. In amongst everything I managed to read, I also managed to binge watch Vampire Diaries up until about episode 8 in season 5. So… I’ve definitely gotten through a lot this month!

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Published: January 2nd 2018 by LBBFYR

Of course I want to be like them. They’re beautiful as blades forged in some divine fire. They will live forever.

And Cardan is even more beautiful than the rest. I hate him more than all the others. I hate him so much that sometimes when I look at him, I can hardly breathe.

Jude was seven years old when her parents were murdered and she and her two sisters were stolen away to live in the treacherous High Court of Faerie. Ten years later, Jude wants nothing more than to belong there, despite her mortality. But many of the fey despise humans. Especially Prince Cardan, the youngest and wickedest son of the High King.

To win a place at the Court, she must defy him–and face the consequences.

In doing so, she becomes embroiled in palace intrigues and deceptions, discovering her own capacity for bloodshed. But as civil war threatens to drown the Courts of Faerie in violence, Jude will need to risk her life in a dangerous alliance to save her sisters, and Faerie itself.

I hope you all had an amazing month like I did! Feel free to add your links to the comments so I can check them out!

Everyone seems to love Cruel Prince, so I am happy to see you’ve made it book of the month as well πŸ˜€ It’s already on my wishlist, but now I hope I can buy it a little sooner.

The Cruel Prince was one I wasn’t expecting to love as much as I did! I highly recommend it and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! πŸ™‚

You got through so many books this month Lauren, and it seems like you ended up enjoying most of them as well which is always great. I’m glad you loved The Cruel Prince, that’s a favourite of mine and I am so excited for The Wicked King now, and oh I can’t wait to see your review for Obsidio as well. That was actually my favourite book of this month but at the same time I can’t believe one of my favourite series has finally come to an end. πŸ™‚
Great post, and I hope you have a brilliant April as well. πŸ˜€ ❀

Right? Looking back over the list, I’m surprised at just how many I got through πŸ˜… and I am so glad that I enjoyed most of them as well, which makes it even better.
The Cruel Prince was just amazing! I am so excited for The Wicked King! πŸ˜€
I also loved Obsidio! And the battle between The Cruel Prince and Obsidio was a really close one! I think The Cruel Prince got it because it was a book that I just wasn’t expecting to live as much as I did and it just snuck up on me. I was expecting to live Obsidio and I did! 😍😍😍 im still all in for a spin off series after the ending!
Hope you have a great April! πŸ™‚ ❀️

There are months when I’m surprised by the amount of books I got through (March wasn’t one of them) so I now what you mean. πŸ™‚
Same here, and yeah for me there was pretty much no competition for Obsidio so I guess that was lucky for me because I’m not great with tough decisions.
Is there going to be a spin-off series then? I haven’t heard anything about it but I’d love it if there was.
Thanks Lauren, you too. πŸ™‚ ❀
