Hey everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! It finally snowed, but I can’t go out with my son in it like I wanted to because he’s ill -.- Talk about timing!
Anyway, this weeks pick for me is a relatively new release that I snagged whilst out shopping for Nikolaus gifts!
Published: November 7th 2017 by Feiwel and Friends
Amazon: Renegades (International Edition)
Secret Identities. Extraordinary Powers. She wants vengeance. He wants justice.
The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies—humans with extraordinary abilities—who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone…except the villains they once overthrew.
Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice—and in Nova. But Nova’s allegiance is to a villain who has the power to end them both.

I didn’t know Nikolaus was celebrated so widely :-). I hope you’re son will feel better soon! Happy reading!
Nikolaus in Germany is just where the kids get a little present and chocolate 🙂 and thank you! 🙂 you too
Euhm same here! It’s delivered by someone called Sinterklaas who comes from Spain supposedly and drops things during the night, like Santa Claus a little bit.
Yes! Exactly 😂😂
Hope your son gets well soon!
I’m looking at Bedtimes and Broomsticks on my page:
Thank you! I hope so too! And thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh I hope your son feels better soon, sending all the love! < <"
I really want to read Renegades at some point, I loved the lunar chronicles series and am looking forward to reading more from the author 😀
Thank you ❤️❤️
really hope your son’s feeling better soon we have loads of snow here so lots of snowman building & sledging going on from the kids that is, I’m nesh lol. the shop had sold out of sledge’s so my other half made them one.
Love your book choice here’s mine
Thank you, me too! My son is only two, so whilst he’s seen snow, he wasn’t even one, so he’s never touched or played with it – and I’ve been saying all winter I just want one day where he can play with snow… and then the snow comes and he’s ill🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
That’s pretty awesome! I’m not as crafty to be able to make something like a sledge 😅😅
I know he’s handy that way me not so much he he.
Aw, hopefully, your little man will get to have a great play day in the snow with mum very soon.
My boys are a bit older but I can remember when they were tiny and it was so magical that first time so I know exactly where you’re coming from.
Hopefully there’ll still be snow around when he’s better 😍😍
yep I will keep my fingers crossed for you hun 😘
