Hey guys! My pick for this week is a relatively new release and a book that I got in the post last week! I am extremely excited about it and I cannot wait to dive in.
The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson
When all hope is gone, how do you survive?
Before the war, Eden’s life was easy—air conditioning, ice cream, long days at the beach. Then the revolution happened, and everything changed.
Now a powerful group called the Wolfpack controls the earth and its resources. Eden has lost everything to them. They killed her family and her friends, destroyed her home, and imprisoned her. But Eden refuses to die by their hands. She knows the coordinates to the only neutral ground left in the world, a place called Sanctuary Island, and she is desperate to escape to its shores.
Eden finally reaches the island and meets others resistant to the Wolves—but the solace is short-lived when one of Eden’s new friends goes missing. Braving the jungle in search of their lost ally, they quickly discover Sanctuary is filled with lethal traps and an enemy they never expected.
This island might be deadlier than the world Eden left behind, but surviving it is the only thing that stands between her and freedom.
I like the cover and the premise sounds quite good. Happy reading.
Thanks! 🙂

It does! And I hope so too! Thanks 🙂
Hope you enjoy it!! Looks interesting!
Thanks 🙂
Great pick for this week. I only discovered this book when I saw unboxings for the June Owl Crate box everyone had started receiving. I checked out the blurb and it sounded really interesting. I hope you enjoy this book Lauren, I have it on my Kindle so hopefully I’ll be able to get around to it soon as well! 😀
That’s where I found it as well! I absolutely loved the cover and I just had to know what it was about! I hope you enjoy it too!
Seems plenty of people have discovered this book through Owl Crate, I guess subscription boxes can do great things for books the community aren’t as aware of.
Thanks Lauren. 🙂
