Hey guys!! I hope you all had a great weekend! The rain let up over here on Saturday and Sunday, so we were able to go out without getting hugely wet to do so! Anyway, this weeks pick for me is a book that I have had on my TBR for a while now and I am going to be getting a copy soon! π
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
Published: October 25th 2010 by HarperCollins
With this stunning debut novel, New York Times bestselling author Lauren Oliver emerged as one of today’s foremost authors of young adult fiction. Like Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why and Gayle Forman’s If I Stay, Before I Fall raises thought-provoking questions about love, death, and how one person’s life can affect so many others.
For popular high school senior Samantha Kingston, February 12β”Cupid Day”βshould be one big party, a day of valentines and roses and the privileges that come with being at the top of the social pyramid. And it isβ¦until she dies in a terrible accident that night.
However, she still wakes up the next morning. In fact, Sam lives the last day of her life seven times, until she realizes that by making even the slightest changes, she may hold more power than she ever imagined.
Excellent choice, Lauren! I read this one awhile ago and thought it was good. I’m hoping to see the movie next (crossing my fingers it’s good).
Happy Reading and thanks again for hosting!
Thanks!! And I’m glad to heard that you enjoyed it!!
Sounds like a YA version of Ground Hog Day! π
Yes!!
Great choice! Before I Fall is one of my favorite books. I hope you’ll love it π
I’m getting a copy later this week/early next week so I’m really looking forward to going into it! I’m glad to hear that you enjoyed it as well!! π
The movie is fantastic! I haven’t read the book but if it’s as good as the movie, then you’re in for a treat! I need to put this on my TBR list too!
Great pick for this week Lauren, I’ve been meaning to get around to more of Lauren Oliver’s books ever since I read and loved Replica last year. I really hope you enjoy this one! π
I still need to get around to replica!! ππ but every time I think about reading it, my brain goes into overdrive at how I want to read it and then I just don’t ππ
Well hopefully one day your brain will stop going into overdrive and you’ll be able to pick it up, maybe reading and loving this book will help with that! π
I love this book! I read it a few months ago. I hardly ever read YA, but the synopsis appealed to me. It doesn’t disappoint. I hope you love it! π
That’s so good to hear! I love it when people enjoy the books that I still have on my tbr π thanks for stopping by!
This has been on my TBR for ages now
