It seems like you had a great month this May Lauren. Although the books you read were a little bit mixed the ones you gave five stars to were beyond amazing in my opinion. Any month that includes Strange the Dreamer, A Court of Wings and Ruin. and Flame in the Mist is a successful month in my book! πŸ˜€
Also wow that is a massive book haul for May too. I always say I’m going to cut down on my book buying next month but I never quite manage it, but I’ll wish you good luck. You may be better at it than I am! πŸ™‚ ❀

There were definitely mixed reviews in there but there were also definitely some absolutely amazing reads 😍😍 and it was amazing!! I’m chanting to myself that I will not buy books this month! Hopefully it will come true

  2. Summer @ Xingsings says:

Oh my gosh… what an intense haul for a month, lol. I’m interested to see what you think of the Everneath trilogy. I started buying theseries ages ago when I was a teenager and in my vampire phase but never got around to it.

I hope you enjoy your books! And happy June, Lauren!

I know right! I can’t believe I actually bought that many books!! I have had them on my TBR for ages now, so I am really excited about getting around to them πŸ™‚

I always really enjoyed school and I hated the fact that summer holiday was so long because I got bored really quickly πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

First of all, WOAH good job reading this month, I could never do that! I am kind of sad I put down Strange the Dreamer (I started reading it last week) but it was just really hard and confusing for me to get into the book since apparently it is set in an entirely different universe or something? I don’t know, I read like 30 pages and I was just so lost and everything seemed like clumps of words! Were you confused or no?

    • lry93 says:

Thank you! πŸ™‚ I personally wasn’t confused, but I am a HUGE fan of Laini Taylor’s work. However, having said that, I can see how the style would confuse people at the beginning, but I also feel like, once you’re into the book, it will have you completely hooked!! Maybe give it another go and just stick with it a bit longer? Or it could just not be your kind of thing, and that’s ok too! πŸ™‚ the cover is 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 though πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  4. Naty says:

Wow, such a productive month! Congrats πŸ™‚ by the way, are you from Germany? (just saw on your twitter) I live in Germany too πŸ˜€
