Hey guys! I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a relatively long weekend here – and the weather was crazy hot!! If this is a sign of weather to come this summer, I am going to be melting! Anyway, this weeks pick for me is a book that I received from a monthly book date! I am part of a bookish group on facebook called Blind Date With a Book, in which there is a monthly theme and you can choose whether or not to participate in the month or not. We then get given a date and you have to send them a book! My date this month picked out a book for me that I have had on my TBR for ages now – and I am also in love with this cover and underneath the dust jacket!

This book is very good, I read it a couple of months ago and really enjoyed it, you should definitely read it 🙂
I have heard some amazing things, so I am really looking forward to getting to it!! I have a couple of ARCs to get through, but hopefully after those 🙂
Oh my god Lauren this book is the start of one of my all-time favourite series so I really really hope you love it! If you’re anything like me the second you finish The Bone Season you will have to run out and buy the second book so you can start it straight away! 😀

I already have The Mime Order ordered through amazon … apparently it’s expected to be here tomorrow, but they haven’t actually sent it yet 👀👀👀 so, I’m interested to see whether it actually will turn up tomorrow!! I also ordered a copy of The Song Rising and managed to get my hands on the collectible edition!! 😀 but that will take a little longer to get here because I had to get someone in England to order it for me and then they’re going to send it to me! 🙂
Trust me you’ll need the second book by the time you finish the first, and then you’ll need the third book by the time you finish the second as well. This is an addictive series!
Hopefully The Mime Order will arrive tomorrow, and ohh the Collectors Edition of The Song Rising will be worth the wait. It’s great you managed to find a copy of that still! 😀
Well, Amazon has dispatched it, so I am more hopeful of it arriving tomorrow now! And it was not easy to find – let me tell you! I had to get someone in England to order it for me and they are going to send it to me when it arrives – I was told earlier that it was dispatched, so, hopefully I should be getting it soon 😀
Oh that’s good news at least! 🙂 And yeah I can imagine that. I didn’t think they had any more of the Collectors Editions left available so you did well just managing to find that! 😀
I am so glad I managed to find one because the other one wouldn’tve matched the set that I have!! And books have to be matching 😂😂
