Hey guys!! *Phew* I am so glad I survived this weekend, but I am dead tired today because of it! I was at a wedding this week, so congrats to the happy couple, but as you can imagine… tired!! Anyway, without further ado, here is a book that is actually sat on my shelf and one that I literally cannot wait to get to!
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Published: August 31st 2010 by McElderry Books
In a time when Shadowhunters are barely winning the fight against the forces of darkness, one battle will change the course of history forever. Welcome to the Infernal Devices trilogy, a stunning and dangerous prequel to the New York Timesbestselling Mortal Instruments series.
The year is 1878. Tessa Gray descends into London’s dark supernatural underworld in search of her missing brother. She soon discovers that her only allies are the demon-slaying Shadowhunters—including Will and Jem, the mysterious boys she is attracted to. Soon they find themselves up against the Pandemonium Club, a secret organization of vampires, demons, warlocks, and humans. Equipped with a magical army of unstoppable clockwork creatures, the Club is out to rule the British Empire, and only Tessa and her allies can stop them…
I have never actually read a Clare book (except for the first in the Magisterium series, which she co wrote with Holly Black), so I’m feeling a little left behind!! I have heard so many different versions about which order I should read her books, that I am just going to go with what I got and the way I want to read it!
What do you guys think about Clare’s books?
Find me here:
I have all of Cassandra Clare’s books on my to-read list. I need to re-read the first three books of The Mortal Instruments series and then read everything else so I can get started on Lady Midnight! I really hope you enjoy Clockwork Prince, I’ve heard so many amazing things about it, people seem to enjoy The Infernal Devices trilogy more than The Mortal Instruments series! 😀
I just need to read some of her books, I have heard great things, so I look forward to it!! 🙂
Plenty of people love this series so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I’ll be looking forwards to seeing your review and what you think of the series! 😀
