Goodreads Monday

Goodreads Monday is a weekly meme hosted here. To take part, all you need to do is choose a book from your TBR pile and show it off! Don’t forget to link back here and link me up so I can see what you chose.

Hey guys! So, I did’t do a Goodreads Monday last week because I posted my July Wrap Up on that day – but I am back this week with this meme and I have a book for you that has been on my TBR since the dawn of time! Well… maybe thats a little exaggerated… but it has been there a while!

hourglass

Hourglass by Mrra McEntire

Published: June 14th 2011 by Egmont USA

One hour to rewrite the past…

For seventeen-year-old Emerson Cole, life is about seeing what isn’t there: swooning Southern Belles; soldiers long forgotten; a haunting jazz trio that vanishes in an instant. Plagued by phantoms since her parents’ death, she just wants the apparitions to stop so she can be normal. She’s tried everything, but the visions keep coming back.

So when her well-meaning brother brings in a consultant from a secretive organization called the Hourglass, Emerson’s willing to try one last cure. But meeting Michael Weaver may not only change her future, it may also change her past.

Who is this dark, mysterious, sympathetic guy, barely older than Emerson herself, who seems to believe every crazy word she says? Why does an electric charge seem to run through the room whenever he’s around? And why is he so insistent that he needs her help to prevent a death that never should’ve happened?

Like I said, this book has been on my TBR forever now and I really should be taking it off sometime soon! I have heard so many amazing things about this book, that I should really kick myself for forgetting all about it!!

What books have gotten lost on your TBR’s?

I’ve had this book on my to-read list for a while now as well. It sounds really interesting, and I’ve heard good things about the series but for some reason i just haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I hope you really enjoy it, I’ll be looking forwards to seeing your review for this book! πŸ˜€
