Hey guys! It is time for another Goodreads Monday! I feel like my TBR has grown exponentially, so I am pretty spoilt for choice!
The Leaving by Tara Altebrando
Published: June 7th 2016 by Bloomsbury USA Childrens
Six were taken. Eleven years later, five come back–with no idea of where they’ve been.
Eleven years ago, six kindergarteners went missing without a trace. After all that time, the people left behind moved on, or tried to.
Until today. Today five of those kids return. They’re sixteen, and they are . . . fine. Scarlett comes home and finds a mom she barely recognizes, and doesn’t really recognize the person she’s supposed to be, either. But she thinks she remembers Lucas. Lucas remembers Scarlett, too, except they’re entirely unable to recall where they’ve been or what happened to them. Neither of them remember the sixth victim, Max. He doesn’t come back. Everyone wants answers. Most of all Max’s sister Avery, who needs to find her brother–dead or alive–and isn’t buying this whole memory-loss story.
I have had this on my TBR for a while now and I cannot wait to read it! I have been reading a lot of books like this lately – I just love the suspense!
What books are on your TBR? Feel free to leave me a comment!
I have so much on my TBR I don’t even know where to start lol. I hadn’t heard of this book before but it looks great!
I am basically the same, so I just scroll down Goodreads and click at random!! šš thanks for stopping bu
There are so many books on my TBR, I wouldn’t even know where to start. Definitly a ton of sequels I am excited for and then, of course, a bunch of new releases, like Unscripted Joss Byrd for example.
I just scroll down Goodreads and click at random š I have never even heard of that, but I definitely know where you are coming from with the sequels!! It’s so hard to keep up with them all!
