Hey guys! So I decided on a whim earlier to start at least trying to plan some kind of story for this event. Whenever I have thought about writing a story before, I always end up with a blank brain. I have always been the read and judge rather than write and be judged.
So, anyway, I have started by doing brainstorms and my story has gone from one thing to another in the span of about an hour! It seems like such a huge feat – I am hopeful that I will eventually churn something worth reading out!!
Anyone else doing this, is this what it is like, or am I just a whacky person who isn’t cut out for this sort of thing? I am sorry about the rant – this place seemed like the best place to talk about it π
Oh that’s so great, when are you doing it, in June, or prep already for November? π
I’m not an expert on the subject, but I do love to plan out everything before actually writing, it gives me purpose, sense of where I’m going, and actual need to start writing π
For November because it is just going to keep changing until I just stick with it…plus this way I can put it away for a long period of time and come back to it with fresh eyes if I need too …
For me the start of ideas is always like I’m stumbling around trying to figure out what’s the best path to take. Takes a while for me to pin things down and even when I have them pinned down, I always wondering if I made the right choice. π£
I’m planning to do the November Nanowrimo too! No idea what I’m going to write yet.
Wow, you sound just like me!!! I saw that you could buddy up for it – if you want to we could buddy up? Might make things easier? I have a rough idea, that I actually like at the moment, but it would surprise me if it changes again ππ
*high fives* haha. I’ve heard of it buddying before, never actually tried it out but sure, we could buddy for nano π. There’s still plenty of time, let it change however you want. Haha.
I will π I’m interested to see where it lands!!
