The British Books Challenge is hosted by Fluttering Butterflies
Hey Guys! Don’t know if it is just me, my WordPress playing up, but if there is a change in font, I am sorry. Although it looks kinda funky 🙂 Anyway, I have been seeing the British Books Challenge floating about and I decided to check it out. I have decided to take part (obviously) because being from Britain and being a readaholic, I would love to be able to support British authors more – even if it means just advertising them a bit more through blog! 🙂
So, the challenge aims for people to read 12 books by British authors in a year as a minimum – so basically one per month. Of course you can read more if you so choose 🙂
Here are the books that I am planning to read for this challenge
Stolen by Lucy Christopher. I was disappointed with this book because I really wanted to love it! Find my review here
You Against Me by Jenny Downham. After reading Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, I saw this as a recommendation by Goodreads and decided to add it to my TBR.
Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson. I added this to my TBR after reading a review – I really need to crack it open.
Hurt by Tabitha Suzuma. I absolutely loved Forbidden, the feels! I have to read some more of her work!
Me and Mr J by Rachel McIntyre. This is a book that I have made clear that I am looking forward to its release date! 🙂
Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas. I read this during my stay at the hospital a few weeks ago and absolutely adored it!! Here is the link to my review.
I know it isn’t 12 books – I will be adding too the list when I find books that I want to read that belong to British authors.
