Mara Dyer doesn’t think life can get any stranger than waking up in a hospital with no memory of how she got there.
It can.
She believes there must be more to the accident she can’t remember that killed her friends and left her mysteriously unharmed.
There is.
She doesn’t believe that after everything she’s been through, she can fall in love.
She’s wrong. (Goodreads)
Here’s to my late crash landing into the world that is Mara Dyer. U cant believe it has taken me this long to get around to reading it because it was amazing!! Give me a book with a swoon worthy guy, a mysterious accident and some form,of paranormal activity and I will gobble it up. And gobble it up I did.
Let’s start off with the mysterious accident – where it all begins (after the ouiji board). I love guessing what happened, and what really happened was something I could never have guessed! Of course I don’t want to give it away, but it is amazing. As she was beginning to remember, bit thought she was hallucinating, the reader wasn’t sure if that was really what happened or whether it is Mara’s PTSD. This was a great way to keep us on our toes!!
I loved the twist with some sort of paranormal abilities. I also like the way that more than one character has them and they are different! At the moment it is only present in Noah and Mara, but maybe we will see some more – like Jude’s!! I am left with so many questions that it is unreal! Why do they have these abilities? Where do they cone from? Are they genetic? Etc…
Noah is swoon worthy. I think I literally had to fan myself at his character! He is funny witty, smart and caring! I fell in love with him right alongside Mara and I really hope they get it together and stay with each other because they are just perfect!
I absolutely adored thus book and I definitely look forward to reading the next installment. I rated this book 5/5 – it was that amazing…!!
I absolutely love this series and I agree with your review 100% 🙂
I really need to read the last book! I have it, just have to get around to it…
I have so many books that I own and haven’t read yet… the eternal struggle of a compulsive book-buyer 😉
It’s such a bad habit… but worth it!
For sure!
